He served in the United States Army. Sarah Farmer Sarah E. Farmer, age 86 of Lancaster died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was a member of St. Mary Church, Olivedale Senior Citizen Center, and Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of St.
John. Survivors include one sister, Izetta Tipton; four sisters-in-law, Minnie Swartz, Opal Guisinger, Marilyn Guisinger, Margaret Guisinger; longtime friends, Fred and Anna Kiger all of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. and Edna Lutz Drum on Sept. 12, 1911 in Pickaway County. He retired from farming and in 1981 he retired from Fairfield School for Boys in Lancaster. Michael Brown, 47, Cleveland, was arrested in WinstonSalem, N.C., said Gerald L. Mack, agent in charge at the Cleveland FBI. Brown was arrested without incident by FBI agents and deputies of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
Brown was being held in custody pending his return to Ohio. Brown had worked at Parmadale, a home for troubled boys that is run by Cleveland Catholic Charities. Charges against Brown were part of a wide-ranging investigation in Cuyahoga County of sex abuse allegations in the Roman Catholic Church. He was in custody pending counties in Ohio, but removed an ankle bracelet that was required to monitor his movements. Brown was indicted in Cuyahoga County on 61 counts, including kidnapping, tampering with evidence and records, gross sexual imposition, sexual imposition and interference with custody.
